Behind HanseHorse are us – Victoria and Antonius von Heyden Linden.
We have been together for over 13 years, and married for almost nine. We are parents, dog parents – and above all, passionate horse lovers.

The stables have been an integral part of our daily lives for many years. While others might go into town in the evening, we often spend our time there – with the horses. Even on days when we were already at the stables, the evening atmosphere holds something special for us: peace and quiet, the smell of hay, the horses' snorting. It's the moment when the day slows down and our minds clear.

Many ideas for HanseHorse originate right there – in the stable, from conversations with other riders, or from situations in which we ourselves realize that something could work better.

Our professional paths originally led us in completely different fields. Victoria works as a civil engineer and project manager, while Antonius comes from the shipping and sales sectors. With HanseHorse, we consciously chose to take a new direction and build a company out of our passion. This step also meant learning many new things, taking risks, and investing a significant portion of our time and energy in this project.

For us, HanseHorse is therefore not just a brand – but a long-term project that we are building with a great deal of personal dedication.

A key priority for us is the quality of our products. Each product goes through several development stages. Materials are selected, tested, and often discarded. Samples are adjusted, details are changed, and prototypes are revised again. These revision cycles are an integral part of our product development process. Often, it's the small details—fit, seams, materials, or functional solutions—that ultimately make the difference in everyday use.

All products are tested by us in the stable before they become part of the collection. Only if they prove themselves in everyday use are they included in our product range.

From the very beginning, it was important to us to find a balanced approach: high-quality materials, thoughtful workmanship and durable products – but at the same time calculated in such a way that they remain attractive to specialist retailers and can establish themselves in the product range in the long term.

Our collections follow a calm, timeless design language. Color palettes are deliberately limited and coordinated so that products remain combinable and create a harmonious overall look across multiple collections.

Step by step, HanseHorse is growing into a brand that emerges from real equestrian practice – driven by enthusiasm for horses, the demand for functional quality and the conviction that good design and everyday usability belong together.
